Every bloody year, the same old, same old. The fact that you can limp a car home, get repairs done where it's obviously hit an animal only confirms to me  what a weird place the new forest is.

Driver crashes into a woman's car then gives police incriminating footage

Charles Hambley, 28, collided his Mitsubishi with a woman driving a Citroen on the A4051 in Cwmbran

In mitigation, Tabitha MacFarlane described her client as having an "autistic nature". She added: "He called the police himself and volunteered his dashcam. That tells you all you need to know about him." She said the defendant lives with his grandparents and effectively acts as their carers.

Motorists mystified after being fined £100 for 'parking' in retail park at times their cars weren't even there

Some shoppers were wrongly fined up to £100 for apparently leaving their cars there for as long as two days

For some motorists, it’s a known issue but no less frustrating. One said: “My boyfriend had issues with them in that car park around eight times. He goes there often, and sometimes goes through one entrance and out the other. So, they thought he was parked there for over 24 hours, when he lives around the corner.”

Council spokes: "It should also be noted that no other cars in the vicinity were parked in this way, which is a strong indication drivers understand the rules and are willing to use the multitude of car parks on the Wincheap estate."
