Can you get individual replacement Campag sprockets

I'm running 2009 Campag Centaur, and since replacing my chain a few weeks back (checker was showing between 0.7 and 1% stretch), it's noisy on 2 out of the 10 sprockets at the back.

Obviously these are the most commonly used ones and I probably should have changed my chain a little earlier, but can you order individual replacements rather than having to buy a whole new block, which seems a bit wasteful (not to mention a reasonable chunk of cash)?

Cheers!

I think you should to be able to. I have 11 speed, where some sprockets are joined in groups, but the part numbers for the groups were labelled in the leaflet which came with the cassette. Don't know exactly what the situation is with 2009 Centaur, but you should be able to find manuals on the Campagnolo web site to get the part numbers, and order individual parts through your nearest bike shop which supplies Campagnolo. (I've never seen Campagnolo spares available online.)

Yes, you can.

Which sprockets do you need (i.e. which combination - 12-25, 13-29 etc. and which actually sprockets, 12T top, 14T 3rd etc.) do you need?

We keep most of the 10s sprockets in stock in the UK - the ones we don't have, we can order (generally on a 14 day turaround) or we'd be very happy to supply your LBS.

We offer the same spares service on 11s as well.

Generally, "noisiness" is not a good measure of wear, it may be some other factor, so whilst you have everything stripped and clean, it's also worth checking that your gear hanger, if it's removable, is tightly fitted to the dropout, and straight ... plus that your jockey wheels are in good condition.

If you have stripped the sprocket off the hub to clean it, also ensure that you have the spacers back in the right places - Campag cassettes vary slightly across the cassette for spacing & if they are assembled incorrectly, they will still shift acceptably (most of the time) but won't be 100%.

HTH!

That's fantastic, thanks.

I'll double check the other issues you suggest, but I'm 75% sure it is the chain/sprockets not meshing perfectly from previous experience of when I've left chains far too long to replace them.

What's the ballpark RRP for individual sprockets? (in case it's financially more sensible to just replace the whole thing...)
