11waterloo
Well, that was a long haul! From a personal point of view that last race was a bridge too far especially in the purist league but overall have thoroughly enjoyed the season. Happy to have been beaten by people who were better than me apart from I SMELL BAD who was just plain lucky (and happens to be my son!) Hopefully we can do it all again next year!

A huge thanks to Condor Andy who did most of the race setups and scoring.
Still a great fantasy cycling platform after all these years.
Bit of a lame finish; the overall season comp is usually decided in the last 2 stages (remember last year; gap 1st to 2nd was 40 pts; 2017 was 95). This year 570pts; huge.
Have a great Christmas guys. See you all in Adelaide next year.
Cheers
Plus one to everything said here.
I’m not bitter about being robbed of the purist competition in a lottery competition added unexpectedly at the end of the season…..really I’m not…..Honest….
But you can all F***k right off I’m never playing this game again!
😉 😉 😉

I would also like to add my kudos to all those who run the game i.e. start list, scoring etc etc.

It doesnt happen without your time. You do a fabulous job for us to enjoy the game, and I know the remuneration is hefty
LOLI find my good friend “Mountain Renegade” is just streets ahead of my knowledge of the game, but Friday over drinks I always manage to blean a little more info into team selections etc. Thank you Tony.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. See you all in the New Year

You had a fantastic run in the summer….and as I remember your “dreadful start” had more to do with managing to pick every rider that fell off. Not a lot you can do about that.

Swinson bros played a blinder in the purist game for the second half of the season….miles ahead of everybody during that time.

Yes, I meant to say many thanks to those who organise the game. We do rather take it for granted that the rider lists will be there & the scores are regularly updated, I suspect it requires a fair bit of effort and commitment. I will now hibernate until the Tour Down Under when Richie Porte will make his only appearance in any right thinking persons team!

Another solid season, thanks
Another solid season, thanks all!
I’ll take a butchers at the UCI changes for next season, see if any changes are needed for next year, send round an update with the races we’ll choose to do. Dave has some ideas for upgrading the game and hopefully next year runs as smootly as this.
Still very rewarding admining the game. Glad people are still engaged and enjoying it, this was the first fantasy cycling game I picked up in 2013, hasn’t lost its charm.

Yeah…really enjoyed the
Yeah…really enjoyed the season as always. 5th in purist and 5th in standard….I can see a pattern building. This game adds enormously to my love of cycling..and as a full time carer who spends too much time at home this game, along with Eurosport, helps fill some otherwise pretty long days.
As with 11waterloo I am locked in a two man league with my brother….who I beat almost every race. Hoping he has more time next season to make it a closer run league.
Many thanks to all the folk who make this happen…it’s very much appreciated.
