Hi there,
New to the forum but hoping for some advice as I’m a bit lost! I have a well worn Specialized tricross sport (2010) which I use primarily as a commuter, but also for cycle touring. I invested in a set of studded Schwalbe tyres this winter for the frost which were superb, however rather than constantly change out the tyres I was wanting to get a full spare set of “summer” wheels.
I’ve been trying to look but honestly don’t know where to start! The original rims were alex ACE-19, the bike has Cantilever brakes and the tyres are 700c. It uses a 9 speed shimano cassette. I’m looking for as cheap as practicable whilst still being hard wearing (lightweight is very much a secondary consideration).
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!
Best
