I bought the word stand last year at £30 and when I'd opened it I found one of the straps for the handlebar stabiliser was missing. The store could exchange as they none left (30 after I'd bought it) so I kept it and emailed the address on the warranty. With 3 days they'd sent me a brand new arm complete with the required strap - can't say fairer than that. Simply one of the best pieces of maintenance kit I've ever bought. I did have their track pump but it got lost in a house move and I then paid £30 for the cheapest at a LBS - whilst the new one it great I can't say it's any better than the Lidl version in all honesty. I've had the saddlebag and tools for a while too and although they've not seen much use (thankfully I'm not frequented by the puncture fairy too often) they've been perfectly fine.
I saw this post as I perused the 'net on my lunch break and so was able to hot foot it to my local Lidl (only about 500 yards away) and get the last work stand. Very pleased with it for £24.99 and it looks just like the one my mate bought recently for about £40 - bargain.
I picked up their bib shorts a few years ago and they're perfectly OK. The bib tights I got at the same time however feel like I'm sitting on a pile of fire ants.
I bought one of the Heart Rate monitors and it seems to work quite well. Android and iPhone compatible, works with Strava, what more could you want?

The toolkit is worth buying for the saddle bag alone. Keep it and the tyre levers and throw away the tools and other crap.
I bought a work stand yesterday and the cashier very clearly told me to keep hold of the receipt just in case. I've not put it up yet but for £25 I don't think I can complain.
Their cycling clothing is alright. The fit is always a little odd. I prefer Aldi but I'm skinny.
Definitely keep the receipt. Take a photo of it, and email it to yourself for future reference. As they are printed on thermal paper they will fade out to nothing after a year or so.
I purchased two stands two years ago, and have ***thrashed them***. One cracked at the clamp last year, and I got it replaced. The other has now got an issue where the base-foldy-concertina plastic bracket comes away from the main pole when lifted up - so I'm going to get it swapped - for free - tomorrow. If there are any left. If not, i'll wait until next time. 3 year warranty FTW!
In the end I didn't get out of the office in time to get a pump, just as well by the sounds of it.
In the past I've spent a couple quid on arm warmers, summer socks, as well as a base layer, all of which work well enough for the price and I'm happy to use for the daily commute (especially as the commuting kit ends up wearing out quickly anyway), but fall short for longer weekend riding compared to the more expensive stuff I have, the wicking seems to be a weak point in particular.
Dr_Lex and bikebot; I genuninely cannot decide if you are being serious or not about feeling unhappy and ripped off (respectively) that they have dropped the price of their stand by a full five pounds!
Yes - a full five squid price drop compared to last year...
I'm rarely serious, happy to clarify!
I have the track pump, it will not go above 6 bar without it being on the point of snapping.
Been relegated to kids bikes and footballs.
I feel completely ripped off, I paid £30 for one of those workstands last year!
I picked up one of the jackets for £12 today, reasonable quality but obviously not very breathable. I wanted something cheap and a little oversized to be worn occasionally over normal clothes for local pootling, and for that it's fine.
I bought a track pump last year which lives in the office. It's perfectly serviceable, although feels a little "notchy". Has separate holes in the head for schrader and presta which saves fiddling with washers etc.
I bought a softshell and a short sleeved top yesterday and wore them this morning.
The softshell (a medium) feels a little long in the arms, and slightly tight on the shoulders, but I am short and erm slightly well built. It's only billed as showerproof but breathable. It actually coped very well with an hour+ of me being on the rivet whilst drizzling very heavily this morning.
I have the Aldi version of the workstand and can recommend that as well.
Has anyone tried their track pumps?
Colleague bought one three years ago & it was pony - broke on first use. Hopefully now a different model, but keep the receipt handy.
(Been very happy with last year's stand, until I saw it is a fiver cheaper this year)
Yeah, I've had the workstand for a couple of years - good at that price. THere's kinesio tape this week too.
