We will be running monthly ‘Espresso’ rides from our Coffee Shop in Romiley, Cheshire. These events are limited to 100 riders and are designed to build your mileage in the run up to our bigger rides such as the B*Stard. The first one is on Sunday 28th April 2013.
There is plenty of free parking near our shop and our super fast ‘Pro’ registration opens from 08:30 am with riders leaving anytime from 09:00. The idea is to turn up, grab a bite to eat and hit the road with no unnecessary queuing.
The entry fee is £12 with riders receiving:
Pre ride Porridge Pot and hot drink.
Basic feed station offering water, fruit and flapjacks.
Post ride hot drink, soup and bread roll.
We have two lovely routes of 54 and 42 miles heading out through the Goyt Valley into the Peak District. These are lumpy routes but flow nicely. There are no daft hills included just for the sake of it. With numbers limited to 100 riders it enables us to use smaller, quieter lanes.
