RIDE IT South Wales Road Sportive
RIDE IT is a series of non-competitive cycle events taking place across the country and aimed at riders of all abilities. At every ride you’ll find a choice of fully waymarked routes, well stocked feed stations sponsored by High 5 Sports Nutrition, mechanical and sweeper van support if things go wrong, electronic chip timing to record your ride and a finishers medal waiting for you at the end.
Our routes make the most of the terrain around the Brecon Beacons which is ideal for cycling with plenty of challenging climbs, long fun descents and stunning views.
Starting from the popular Parc Bryn Bach centre riders have a brief chance to warm up before the long climb of Llangynidr Road before plunging down a fantastic 6 mile descent to where the ride distance split. The long loop heads off to ride a long, gradual incline past Crickhowell then up and over Gospel Pass.
Remember to save something in your legs as all the routes feature a sting in the tail. After the last drink station you pass the beautiful Talybont Reservior before climbing out the back of the valley on a 20% hill. Look out for the cattle grid as this signals the top and most of the uphill is then behind you.

100% this. Policing mentality is formed by social 'norms', and the cyclist witchhunting across social media is the UK norm. Close passing a person...
