Be first out of the blocks with your fitness drive this new year by joining the fight against heart disease and taking on this 40 mile challenge.
Setting off from the outskirts of London, you'll cycle through picturesque villages and spring countryside as you head for the euphoria of crossing the finish line in the bustling town of Reading.
Sign up before 31 January 2018 and take advantage of our exclusive early bird offer.
The event is ideal for those who haven’t taken part in many cycling events before. The largely flat route and quiet roads make the challenge an achievable one whilst the beautiful views and amazing atmosphere will allow you to see for yourself just how much fun can be had on two wheels.
Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer. By funding cutting edge research, we are determined to put a stop to the damage heart disease causes. But we can't do so without your support. Your registration fee goes towards the cost of organising the event, but it's the money you raise that powers our life saving research. We're therefore asking all riders taking part in this year's event to raise a minimum of £100 in support of our work.
Your entry includes:
- Fully signed and marshalled route
- Complimentary water and refreshments
- Free massage when you finish
- Downloadable route map
- Downloadable route GPX file
- Access to a range of training and fundraising resources to help you reach your goals
- Medical support
- Mechanical support
- Medal for all finishers

There's no forum on Velogames, so I'm not sure how to handle that. Can always continue chatting here. The league is active for the entire year.
I guess anything badged 'race' can be expected to have fragile and propriety parts likely to last a season or less.
