Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Caledonia
Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Caledonia is the UK's leading closed road cycling event. General entries for 2015 sold out in less than three days as thousands of cycling enthusiasts secured a place at the start line of the UK’s premier closed road sportive. Prospective participants can still secure a place as a limited amount of Charity Pledge Places are available to raise vital funds for the Official Charity Partner, Marie Curie Cancer Care.
This unique cycling event takes place on Sunday 10th May 2015 in Perthshire, Scotland, and offers 5,000 participants the opportunity to ride on completely closed roads in one of the most breath-taking locations the UK has to offer. In 2014 £353,908 was raised by Etape Caledonia participants for Marie Curie Cancer Care and in 2015 they hope to raise over £380,000. The money raised will help nurses care for more terminally ill people.
