It’s actually quite useful for getting water out of places in can pool like inside the derailleur or inside bolt heads or around seals and bearings. Obviously you’re not going to blow it directly into bearings up close but it is quite effective at getting water from places you can’t see. Also, I ceramic coated my bike, I dint like wiping it down with cloths. I prefer to blow away the water that beads up. These are available online far far cheaper than this. £20 on Temu can buy you a good one.

I bought an almost identical one off Temu for £25. It’s amazing. Long battery life. Dries a bike in minutes. Great around the chain, derailleurs etc. anywhere water can sit too like bottle cage bolts. I normally wouldn’t condone buying a cheap Chinese copy but it’s not the most technical piece of kit and £120 is , quite frankly, taking the piss for a battery operated hair dryer

@mdavidford It's useful to know that epidemiological studies are not the place to present recommendations for actual medical procedures. A scientific paper is not a medical handbook. And secondly "Study Objectives To quantify trends in e-bike–related ED visits in a 3-year period and compare demographics, injury patterns, alcohol involvement, helmet use, and markers of clinical severity with non-e-bike cycling injuries." It was never the goal of the study to provide any advice, only to analyse the data and possibly suggest what areas may need new recommendations (not what those recommendations would or should be).
