Rutland Cycling are currently selling their ex-hire bikes, giving you the opportunity to save up to 44% on retail price.
They have listed and detailed all the hybrids, mountain bikes, road bikes and children's bikes included in the discounted sale on a dedicated ex-hire bikes sale page.
Rutland Cycles replace their entire hire fleet every year so these are all 2014 models that have been used for the past hire season. The bikes have been maintained throughout the year by Cytech mechanics
You can pick up a Shimano Claris-equipped Trek 1.1 (main pic) for £349.99, for example, compared to a retail price of £599.99.

A disc-equipped Giant Revolt 1 is £749.99 instead of £998.99.

Rutland are selling the RRP
Rutland are selling the RRP £599 Trek 1.1 for £449 new anyway, so £100 saving on a (probaly, well) used bike doesn’t sound too great a deal. I don’t see any bargains here that would sway me.
Not that great a saving
Not that great a saving really- when you think about what the bikes have been used for- I would rather go to one of the other retailers having black friday offers- may end up with last year (or in some cases year before) model but hey, their savings match these for a brand new bike.
Rutland cycling are good guys
Rutland cycling are good guys to buy from. They’ve gone above and beyond when I’ve had warranty issued. Plus as a midlander it’s great to have word Rutland out there.
I’ve bought plenty of stuff
I’ve bought plenty of stuff from Rutland before, have never had a problem, and will continue to do so. They often have great prices too. But sorry, I’m struggling to see any bargains here – the prices are ‘normal’ at best, and ‘ridiculously high’ at worst.
Some great deals in their
Some great deals in their Giant sale though, love the look of the Avail Comp with 25% off! – http://www.rutlandcycling.com/3234/giant-bike-sale.aspx
