Ride has a new range of cycling clothing that comprises two levels – the performance TEC range and the more relaxed FRE range – as well as a women’s specific range.

The TEC jerseys feature a UV protective fabric, along with silicon grippers and sleeve bands designed to provide a close fit. Underarm vents and a full-length zip should give you plenty of ventilation. These are priced at £59.99.

The TEC shorts are £59.99 too, made using a compressive fabric for the lowers and a bonded mesh upper. The pad comes from Cytec, which is always a good sign.

Whereas the TEC clothing is designed with performance in mind, the FRE range is aimed at more casual riders. You still get UV protective fabrics, silicon grippers and a full-length zip on the jersey though, and a Cytec endurance pad in the shorts. The jersey and the shorts are £39.99 each.

Over on the women’s side of things, you get UV resistant fabrics and flat-lock stitched multi-panel shorts, again with a Cytec pad.

Finally, Ride still has its Mountain Project range of jerseys celebrating some of the Tour de France’s most famous climbs including Ventoux, Hautacam and Alpe d’Huez.

Round the back, you get the position of the relevant climb on an outline of France positioned on the rear pockets. These jerseys are £49.99 each.
