Have you ever wanted to ride a Grand Tour team time trial with your friends?
Well, RCS Sport, owners of the Giro d’Italia, are giving you the chance to do exactly that on the final day of this year’s race, coinciding with the Stage 21 individual time trial from Monza to Milan that will bring the 100th edition to a close.
Teams of between four and eight amateur riders are invited to sign up for the event on Sunday 28 May – entry costs €250 per team – with the course running 27.6 kilometres from the racetrack that hosts the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix to Milan’s Piazza del Duomo.
Teams can be all-male, all-female, or mixed, with the time to complete the course taken after the arrival of the fourth team member.
The first team will set off at 0700, with riders departing at 1 minute intervals thereafter.
With the day marking the end of the 100th edition of the Corsa Rosa, it promises to be very special indeed – head here to sign up.
