Privateer rider, Fergus Ryan, hops onto the new Trailcat LT from Pivot and takes it for a weekend in its natural environment. Riding in three destinations around South Wales, Fergus put the Trailcat through its paces in various terrains. From typical bikepark-style riding with flowing berms and smooth man-made crafted-to-perfection jumps to natural unpredicatable terrain with slippery features in the woods of the Forest of Dean.

The all-new trail-specific bike, the Trailcat LT, is for those who want more bounce but don’t want to compromise on the climbing ability characteristics typically aligned with short travel.

Its aggressive, rowdy spirit will enjoy flowy singletracks, long slog ups, and steep techy downs, with 150/135mm of travel to soak it all up. The flip-chip feature allows for on-trail geometry customisation to suit the needs of the bike and rider. You can read more about the Pivot’s first ride impressions here.
