Adding to its already vast range of componentry, Wolf Tooth has introduced a long-awaited dropper post, the Resolve. Though, as a brand that strives to add real value to its products, the Resolve comes with interesting bleed tech, a mega short stack and it’s completely user serviceable.

It goes without saying but the dropper post market is pretty massive with tonnes of brands offering their own versions of the staple tech. That’s why Wolf Tooth has set out to really make its new dropper post stand out from the rest.

To do so, the Resolve makes use of the brand’s fresh Resolve Technology which bleeds the dropper system when used. This stops the hydraulic dropper post from ever developing any sag, says Wolf Tooth. Making this possible, the Resolve does away with the IFP, or internal floating piston, those other dropper posts employ which is prone to failure and can cost a penny to repair.

Instead, the Resolve uses a patented cartridge where a needle and piston keep the cylinder free of air. This cartridge doesn’t have an oil/air barrier either.

Along with this, Wolf Tooth claims that this dropper has the shortest stack height on the market, measuring in at 32mm. The Resolve also gets travel adjustability, allowing adjustments of extension limit in 5mm increments. The dropper is then available in 200, 160, and 125mm lengths.

Finally, each individual part of the Resolve is available as spares, allowing the user to service and rebuild their Resolves at home. Making the task even easier, Wolf Tooth has tutorials to make servicing possible in the comfort of your own home.

As for the price, the Wolf Tooth Resolve will cost £375.
