The guided E-MTB rides were also hugely popular with Dave Atkinson leading the way through very muddy terrain. There was only 1 mishap, when a stick flew up into a rear mech, thus creating the first ever ‘single speed fat e-bike’!

All that testing worked up quite an appetite, so the gourmet burger van and mobile pizza oven were busy all day.

The only casualty of the day was a serious one. My poor socks were trashed by the mud of the E-MTB ride!
