The .cc in road.cc was always meant to stand for cycling club. And now we're taking that to the next level. Join team road.cc for just £14.95 a year and you can enjoy a whole range of member benefits on and off the site. And we'll throw in some free things too!
Get free stuff when you join!
All team road.cc members will get a pair of road.cc socks (worth £6.99) and a road.cc Cyclists Stay Awesome sticker pack (worth £4.00) when they join. So that year's membership is effectively only costing you about four quid. Not bad! You'll have to hurry to get that deal, though.
There's lots of other benefits too. You'll receive a team road.cc card which will get you discounts in cafes and bike shops across the UK and beyond. We're busy getting the cards and gift packs together for everyone who's already signed up and we'll be getting them posted out as soon as we can. We'll also feature special offers for team road.cc members on our members-only area of the site, including great discounts on products and even free entries to sportives.
£20 off a road.cc jersey
team road.cc members can get a classic argyle jersey for just £39.99, a saving of £20 on the usual price. And on top of that there's 10% off everything in the road.cc shop. There'll be other offers and discounts throughout the year.
Race for us!
If you like the idea of racing but you're not a member of a club, we're affiliated to both British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials, so you can race for us in road races, crits, cyclocross, time trials, mountain bike events… pretty much anything. We'll be featuring race reports on the member's section. Get your name in lights!
And more!
As a team road.cc member you'll get first dibs on places at road.cc events which we're planning throughout the year. Everything from ride-outs to free places on sportives to track days to 24-hour races…

Admittedly I don’t post round here as much as a few years ago but this was still the first road site I ever used.
There was nothing to link my username to my sign up – should there have been?

I joined last night; I had had a few beers and it seemed like a good idea at the time. I am Super-impulsive when under the influence as my large collection of computer joy-sticks attests.

Hi Hooray,
Hmm… not sure what’s gong on there. We don’t have you down as a member which means either your payment didn’t go through or there was some breakdown in communication between Paypal and us. We’ll see if we’ve got a payment that hasn’t got a membership attached to it. Might also be worth you looking to see if the payment actually went through you can drop us a line at info@road.cc to let us know or simply join again.
Hope that helps

What about people from other
What about people from other countrys/continent (like Chile – South America); i know the discounts could just apply to web products, but, would the free things get to me?
And more important, for me as a racer, could i race for Roac.cc here in Chile? that would be lovely, please get back to me, i’l like very much to be part of the team and inspire racers and sportives here in Chile!

We’d send the free stuff to you. If we had loads of people wanting to sign up from overseas we’d probably have to do some sums working out postage costs and the like, but we want as many people in the club as possible from as many different places.
We’d love it if you raced for us in Chile – whether you could or not is probably more down to the Chile’s national cycling association than us, but even if they had rules that didn’t allow it maybe not all races in Chile are under their auspices?
I signed up and paid
I signed up and paid Wednesday 20th May. Got conformation first thing Thursday 21st. We will see if I get my membership card and free gifts. What next ?
Next we get the membership
Next we get the membership cards back from the printers and starting sending them and the other stuff out. We’ve also started putting together a calendar of ride outs and we’re going to be asking our members to suggest places we can do them from.
Our first official hideout is going to be soon and we’ll be talking about it more some time over the weekend.

Well next is the Initiation Ceremony . . .
I believe final decision yet to be decided but likely to involve a pair of Urbanist Cycling Padded Brigitte pants as they are so popular on this site and photographic evidence may be required.
On completion of which you will be given the secret information on the club ‘nod’ and ‘special wave’ for those days you forget to wear the argyle socks and jersey?
