Right now in our season-long Fantasy Cycling competition, brought to you in association with Evans Cycles, we’re moving on to stage 2 of the Tour de Suisse, with Juan-Mauricio Soler in the lead.
This is the first stage that doesn’t overlap with the Critérium du Dauphiné, and was supposed to be a limited transfer stage. However, a glitch in the game has meant that it was possible to make unlimited transfers for this stage, and we only noticed after plenty of people had. That’ll mean that you can fill your squad with TdS riders, which is great, obviously. But apologies if it’s mucked up your two-tour strategy a bit… Dave’s been made to sit in the corner with his coding book.
If you’re playing as a purist, changes in this stage won’t be logged so ou can swap your team about.
We’ll check the other unlimited stages to make sure it doesn’t happen again. In the meantime, go pick your best TdS team and enjoy the rest of the pre-TdF racing. And sorry for the mix-up…

Then again it’s just a bit of fun. Real life (unable to log on)saw me enter the Dauphine with no eligible riders and the only option to build them up two at a time. these things happen. And when you don’t win you have an excuse!
Get out on your bike possibly the competition was equally handicapped?
I managed to get on again at midnight 30 so do have a team! 😛
But easy for me to have this attitude with 1,000 people ahead of me!
Ha Ha! This is what I get
Ha Ha! This is what I get for having a wee gloat… stage neutralised and now I am fielding a team with only 5 riders in the race with the other 4 doing some light training somewhere else…
C’est la vie :<

Same here. Sat with a mate in the pub last Friday whose 320 places ahead of me. As he said “Don’t worry. It’s just a bit of fun. I don’t have a wife or kids so I have plenty of time to nerd up on riders…Maybe I should get a life!’. 😀
