Halo

British component brand Halo Wheels specialises in wheels and tyres for road, mountain, BMX and urban bikes.

Founded in 1995, Halo is owned by Cambridgeshire wholesaler Ison Distribution, itself part of a group that dates back to John Albert Townsend’s first cycle shop in Cambridge in 1895.

Branching out from its off-road roots, Halo has focussed on robust wheels and tyres for inner city mean streets with items such as Aerotrack wheels, and Twin Rail Courier tyres.

More recently the range has expanded to include carbon fibre wheels and the traditionally-styled Retro road wheels.

Halo is the wheel supplier to the men’s and women’s Velosure Starley Primal Pro Cycling Team.
