york ride suggestions

Hi all
I'm in York next weekend for an in-law visit and am taking the bike. Any ideas for a 100+ km loop ride from those in the know?
Thanks in advance
Andrew

No problem, I was a not bored so I quickly created this route, to show you where I would go

Not quite 60 miles but should still feel like a challenge

The problem with York is that you have to go a fair way to get to hills, but it's very rewarding once you do.

The above route takes in lovely villages, I would take it clockwise, testing yourself on the white horse (Kilburn) climb,, 200m of ascent, then come back via castle Howard.

Head north. Up towards Crayke, Easingwold and beyond, some lovely villages and it starts to get hilly (howardian hills), the highlight being the white horse climb which is a challenge, to say the least.

Great views over the whole of the vale of York.
