Are you ready to take on the toughest one day ultra cycling challenge in the *UK? It’s tougher than the Yorkshire Beast, tougher than the long Dragon Ride & much tougher than the Majorca 312!
The Legend returns for 2025 with a new start & finish and an even better route that still includes many iconic climbs & showcases the very best that Dartmoor has to offer. On this years course there are only a few miles you ride more than once as you’ll see from the map below. However you do pass our main feedstation at Postbridge three times. We’ll be taking a bag there for any competitors who’d like one, where you can leave spare kit & food.
Our GPS trackers mean friends & relatives will be able to ‘dot watch’ and see your progress online during the event.
All participants must register online in advance of the event. There will be no entry-on-the-day. The Event HQ opens the day before for participants to register & collect their Ride Packs. Or we have emergency registration which opens at 3.30am
The Dartmoor Legend will start from Exeter Racecourse at 05:00 hrs on Saturday 9th May 2025 and are required to finish by midnight. The time limit of 19 hrs (from 5am) is based on an average of 10.5mph including all stops & breaks!
*Based on speaking to finishers of these events who also rode the Dartmoor Legend.
