Bicycle Film Festival coming soon

The Bicycle Film Festival will be returning to Londonʼs Barbican Centre on 13-17 October.

Now in its tenth year, the festival is held in 40 cities worldwide. Organisers are expecting up to 300,000 people to attend.

Film highlights this year include Birth of Big Air, the documentary on legendary BMXer Mat Hoffman produced by Spike Jonze, and The Cyclocross Meeting by veteran BFF filmmaker Brian Vernor, showcasing the emerging cyclo-cross racing craze from America to Japan.

The London Festival will also play host to:

• The Joy Ride art exhibition, opening Wednesday 13 October, 4 Wilkes Street, E1 6QF
• An annual open invitational bike polo tournament on Sunday 17 October
• An Opening night concert on Thursday 14 October with Metronomy, and a Barbican LATES programme to follow, with a cycling themed film quiz, cycle fashion shows, interactive art, DJs and more

Raffle tickets will be on sale at all BFF events in London, giving you the chance of winning dinner or a bike ride with UK 2009 Road racing champion Kristian House.
