Fancy riding some nice bikes and rubbing shoulders with a racing legend next Saturday?
Well, make it a date on the 28th and head over to the official opening of Twenty3c an exciting new bike shop in Stony Straftord, Milton Keynes which caters for all levels of cyclist from enthusiast to elite athlete.
Twenty3c actually opened their doors back in December but this is their official launch and they are pushing the boat out in style. Not only will there be demo rides available on Bianchi, Colnago, Felt and Scott bikes (visit www.twenty3c.co.uk for details of specific bikes available) but Magnus Bäckstedt, winner of Paris Roubaix and stages of the Tour de France and Giro will be there too. He's recently retired from the Garmin Slipstream team after a career which also included stints at Liquigas, Collstrop Palmans, Credit Agricole, Fakta, and Allesse Bianchi - for whom he won Paris Roubaix.
As well as the demo bikes Twenty3c will also be showing off a range of other 2009 products including Science in Sport’s new organic range of sports drinks which will be available to sample. There will also be special offers on bikes and accessories to celebrate the official opening.
