Prime Day, named after the patron saint of online retail, Amazona Primo, has been celebrated by shoppers around the world for around 365... days.
Yep, it's only the second annual Amazon Prime Day sale, but given the weight online retailer Amazon has in cultural stakes as well as its ridiculous market share of online sales, Prime Day's already taken on commercial holiday status.
