I convicted him after I read 'white Audi'
Have you done anything with the information in your possession? If you do not fancy 'going it alone' please pass it on to the GMCC.
The offending driver should receive maximum penalties for gambling with others lives. If that standard of driving is the 'norm' then there are going to be many 'losers'.
Regarding official bodies we have to face up to the fact that it is extremely difficult to find any that are truly fit for purpose. Your lack of confidence is not a surprise.
That sort of driving is the norm in manchester, I could show you a hundred videos of drivers jumping red lights, crawing across pedestrain crossings when green-man and parking on zigzags.
GMP care nothing for poor drivers, I counted four cars on zigzags besides my nearest pedestrain crossing the other night and on my commute through the city centre road markings/box junctions mean nothing.
I have no confidence in #GMP or the council at all
Completely agreed, but don't forget that there's no plod available as they're all looking out for pavement riding cyclists. You know, the ones who have to ride on the pavement because the cycle lane is blocked with parked cars!!!
Let's hope that GMP put a little more work into finding that driver than Notts Police do.
Why would they do that? They might have to prosecute the poor boy then, and that would never do.
“it would be obvious to a competent and careful driver that driving in that way would be dangerous.”
Lol best of lucking finding a jury of fellow motorists who aren't prepared to give the driver the benefit of the doubt.
Let's see how GM police perform in their duty!
£150 fine or £5 fines will be suitable because he didn't crash into the cyclist and left the scene.
