Markus Storck.jpgMarkus Storck to open first Storck signature studio this weekend
This Saturday, Markus Storck will personally open the UK’s first Storck signature studio, a showroom dedicated to the Storck bicycle range, at Maison Du Velo, Reigate.
Markus Storck is the founder and driving force behind German brand Storck Bicycles, and he continues to design the bikes.
Storck bikes invariably do well when we test them here on road.cc, the Storck Visioner C having been recently named as our Road Bike of the Year 2015-16 and the Storck Aerfast Platinum finishing second in Superbike of the Year 2015-16.
Far from being ‘me too’ designs, Storck bikes always include a certain degree of innovation that sets them apart from the crowd.
“This is a fantastic exciting opportunity to meet the man behind Storck Bicycles and hear about his passion for cycling and engineering,” according to Storck Raddar UK. “Markus will also be signing copies of his latest book ‘The Markus Storck Story’ and hand signing Storck owners bikes, plus giving away a Storck frame to a lucky raffle winner.”
Maison Du Velo is at 31 Lesbourne Road, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 7JS. Markus Storck will be there from 3pm on Saturday (30 January 2016).
Mat has been in cycling media since 1996, on titles including BikeRadar, Total Bike, Total Mountain Bike, What Mountain Bike and Mountain Biking UK, and he has been editor of 220 Triathlon and Cycling Plus. Mat has been road.cc technical editor for over a decade, testing bikes, fettling the latest kit, and trying out the most up-to-the-minute clothing. He has won his category in Ironman UK 70.3 and finished on the podium in both marathons he has run. Mat is a Cambridge graduate who did a post-grad in magazine journalism, and he is a winner of the Cycling Media Award for Specialist Online Writer. Now over 50, he's riding road and gravel bikes most days for fun and fitness rather than training for competitions.

I've checked on Facebook and stopping the red light running cyclists was simply revenue raising and police time is better spent chasing real...
They were before change all systems, then went downhill due to bad adminstration aka CEO who agree to proceed with the worst system I have seen...
Same here - it took me by surprise. 10:30am doesn't feel like a dangerous time to cycle; apparently I'm wrong on that.
