I have an original honey brooks saddle that I haven't used in about 8 years since I became worried by the media/marketing about the affects on my undercarriage and shelved it for a saddle with cut outs.
However by happy coincindence (and a devil may care attitude to my future virility) I'd decided to put it on my newly, (badly) hand resprayed hack that should get its first outing this weekend if I can find where I put the chain thats still needed.
I've even got matching brooks bar tape and this + the saddle is probably worth more than double the rest of the bike.
I'll pop up a pic up here when its complete.
ps my original doesn't have bag loops either - this is actually a good thing as it stops me spending a small fortune on a brooks leather tool bag!
Do they still have the original ridiculously short saddle rails in the 'no good for any bike made from the 70's onwards' fashion? The only bike I could get a brooks saddle in the right position was built in 1958 - it was useless on all my other bikes even with a 35mm setback post.
what the deuce!
No bag loops?
Poor show chaps.
