That's happened on a few occasions recently (both Windoze and Mac). Yesterday there was a lesser problem with posts flowing outside their boxes and the side bar betting pushed down below the post list. I guess the CSS gets dropped somehow.
Had that earlier, but just closed it down and it was fine after....
