HERO RIDE 2014 - The Northern Flyer - Manchester to London
Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!
The call goes out to all cyclists and cycle clubs in the North West - join the gruelling 230 mile Manchester to London bike ride for Help for Heroes and prove how tough you are!
From the start point in bustling Manchester the Northern Flyer heads south through the beautiful Peak District, stopping overnight near the impressive Tutbury Castle, before we visit the National Memorial Arboretum – the UK’s Centre of Remembrance – to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Cycling with wounded servicemen and women, the route then continues along the quiet roads of Leicestershire, chocolate box villages of Northamptonshire and charming towns of Hertfordshire, before reaching Blackheath where we unite with a number of other charity bike rides for the epic finish in London in Sunday 8 June 2014.

So that Pulsium from Lapierre has a 415mm wheelbase? I assume it's on 20 inch wheels then!
