    I’ve been getting this error
I’ve been getting this error quite frequently recently. A quick random check has revealed that there are no ‘comment’ boxes on the Shimano hub-dynamo piece nor Leonie’s sports dress review. Not that I had anything to add, other than to ask if the dress comes in my size. 38 regular?

    Some really great information
Some really great information and a variety of ways to look at things here. Thanks to all. I fear I may have deviated slightly from my original plan – I’ve settled on a tasty Enigma Esprit (titanium) with Ritchey carbon forks. Fringe, I looked at Dave Yates and his frame-building course. There can surely be nothing more rewarding than building one’s own frame. I’m living outside the UK just now, but when I’m back that’ll be one of the first things I investigate! And at that time 953 seems the way to go, but still with carbon forks.

haha… actually considered that but I’m not sure I want it lurking at the back of my mind on a descent-I need ever grain of confidence I can muster

If any component on the bike inspires less than 100% confidence it must be time to replace it. I imagine Peter Sagan might be a little more cautious next time he enters a final corner. Not sure if he’s out today – wonder if he’ll be on clinchers though 😕

Interesting to hear your comment on just how much your steel forks flex cat1! That can’t be ideal. And JtM, thanks for the pointers for the frame builders.

Not a silly question. I haven’t looked at Giant specifically, but this practice is not unusual and I think is more prevalent amongst entry-level bikes where competition is fiercest and margins are pretty tight in the first place 🙁
