I suspect it wasn’t set up right, no offence but you’ve described exactly what shouldn’t happen running tubeless no ‘sudden deflation’ is one of the benefits over a tube ‘wot pops, suddenly’.
Did you have any sealant in the tyres?
How many miles have you been run the tyres/wheels in their current set up?
Also is the ENVE 4.5 SES wheelset even tubeless compatible, it doesn’t look like it….

Tubeless Schwalbe Pro Ones
Tubeless Schwalbe Pro Ones here. 25mm on summer and 28mm on winter spec bike, good grip in all weather. 73kg’s running 28mm at 70/75psi. (Front/Rear)
I think the Pro One compound might be different to the One ? Either way, they are expensive tryes and are very soft and cut up easily. I have no problems with punctures (tubeless sorts all that out) but they do wear out pretty quick.

Simple answer is that ‘it depends on how hard you are on your wheels/brake tracks’.
Some people seem to ride carbon all year round with no detriment and some people will degregate their brake tracks horrendously.
I’ve ridden carbon through winter and I can notice a bit of degregation, enough to make me wince. But I’m one of those people who for some reason seems to wear through brake pads and alloy rims quite fast.

In a not a second glance sort of a way, I’d read KOM Raid to be a play on Comrade.. doh.
Personally it’s a little crass for my tastes, but really who cares.. you shouldn’t.
Leave the rules for the Velominati.

Google fu seems to provide
Google fu seems to provide mixed reviews about them. Seems they’ve been around for a couple of years though. You pays your money and takes your chances.
If I were you I’d order the same product via aliexpress, who protect the customer in a similar way ebay do. You might pay a couple more quid for it, but you’ll be getting the same thing they’d ship with more consumer protection.
The caveat to buying offa china is that you migth be getting a knock off product or one which doens’t come with the same QC checks, you might not, there’s little way of knowing. One thing is for sure though if you buy from aliexpress, if it’s not shipped as described ir if defective there’s a process in place which leans on the buyer not the seller, and refunds come direct from aliexpress not the seller.

It’s not a bad thing to remember the tradgey of this case, or indeed other morally degenerate cases of so called justice.

Defence lawyer scum.
Defence lawyer scum.
“Summing up, Mr Fielding (defence laywer) said: “Ben Pontin said it was a stupid decision to overtake. It was nowhere near as stupid as Mr Pontin’s decision to put Denisa Perinova on that bike in the first place.
“He ought not to have been so reckless with the life of his young girlfriend and he failed with terrible consequences.”

New Giant Defy? Typically a lot of bike for the money and I can’t remember the last time they weren’t right up there with the best review wise.
Personally, I’d go Di2 with hydraalic brakes.. becuase the hoods are so much nicer (and lighter). But I get the simplicity of not having to worry about messing about with sockets.

Of course you need a new bike, stupid boy pike!
Will it make you go faster, maybe a bit (it’ll be lighter for sure and the 40mm wheels will keep you flowing easier at higher speeds)… but enough of that nonsense, of course you need a new bike!

Conti are bringing tubeless
Conti are bringing edit- road tubeless tyres to market, there was some news about it a month or so ago..
Regarding comfort, you can run tubeless at a lower psi to tubes.
I’m happily running road tubeless at high (or low) pressures and have been for years.Get it right and it’s no faff whatsoever, it’s a revelation!
Be warned, buy the wrong sealant or set it up wrong and you’ll be swearing about tubeless, many people have got it wrong, often the people you see ‘warning you off it’ on forums like this.
I use bontrager sealant which is excellant at high pressures, but be warned you need to shake the bottle to get the sediment mixed before putting in your tyre. I’ve also used orange seal which I found not to be okay. Keep away from Continenal Revo, Stans (although I hear they’ve revised their formula now) and Schwable Blue – all of which I’ve found to be pretty useless over about 70psi).

Cycling in the midlands, I’m noticing more and more people out riding bikes generally.. with more people riding it could naturally mean more frustration for some motorists (as well as more acceptance).
I have no stats to back this up it’s purely anecdotal.

That totally depends on what
That totally depends on what you decide riding a nicer bike is worth to you.
It’ll be a load lighter that’s for sure, the contact points will also feel nicer (specifically the new ultegra shifters) and you’ll go faster because you have a new bike.
Worth every penny I’d say 😉

Often people upgrade bit by bit because they can afford to do this over buying a whole bike (which generally will be better value).
However if you don’t mind second hand or bits taken off new bikes, scour ebay, facebook and pinkbike you can get some real deals.

There’s a couple of corners on my local roads which turn straight into an incline.. go in fast on the drops and power out of the corner out of the saddle still in the drops. It’s probably inefficiant, but it makes me feel Iike I’m Bruce Lee on a bike 🙂
