    Probably. Maybe he should

Probably. Maybe he should have worn clown shoes to go along with his behaviour.

Well, I haven’t heard much from him recently.

Especially seeing that Arks A and C got wiped out by a disease contracted from a dirty phone. Douglas Adams should be rebranded as a prophet.

Buy Hunt wheels or some random ones on Amazon as then at least you get some return rights

I’ve never had any issues with returning Wiggle stuff and I haven’t wanted to return my Prime wheels. I did get a bike shop to replace the rear wheel bearings a while ago, but they’d had lots of use in wet weather so I don’t think it’s much of an issue with those bearings specifically.

    Di2 gears don’t take much

Di2 gears don’t take much juice so I reckon I can use a solar charger in a pinch.

Great that cycling in general has gone up, public transport can be a spreader.

But aren’t the handlebar grips on the City Bikes as likely to transmit the virus as lift buttons, handrails on escalators and grab-handles on tube trains.

Not if people are wearing gloves and there’s likely to be less face touching whilst cycling.

Most of the stuff by John

Most of the stuff by John Wyndham is fairly apocalyptic. I’d recommend The Kraken Wakes for a good rising sea level kind of apocalyse or The Chrysalids for a post-apocalyptic world. Of course, Day of the Triffids is a good breakdown of society jaunt.

    So, they’re trying to enforce

So, they’re trying to enforce the 20mph motorised vehicle speed limit? They should stop wasting tax-payers money and go do their job instead of just wasting time.

I’m not sure I’d trust him to

I’m not sure I’d trust him to take charge of making the tea (and definitely not coffee). Let”s just hope he releases it as-is without getting it changed first.

There doesn’t seem to be a great deal of profit to be made in any method of getting people to work.

Most methods appear to require subsidies of some sort.

I dunno – there’s been a fair bit of money made from selling petrol over the last century or so.

At some point the various media organisations might figure out that cycling isn’t so bad, especially as a means of moving large volumes of people, especially for the commute.

Either that or start making the races so long that the cyclist might start haveing difficulties in winning.

There’s not much money to be made from people commuting via bikes though.

I’ve got the R785 shifters on

I’ve got the R785 shifters on my bike, but they came with the newer internal battery, so you shoulld be fine with swapping to an internal battery. The “brains” of the Di2 system are with the battery, so AFAIK changing to the internal one is effectively updating your Di2 system which means you can add bluetooth support etc.

I haven’t tried changing the derailleurs for newer ones but I don’t see why they wouldn’t work. No idea about GRX compatibility.
