And I only paid £7 for my main team :D
RULES???
Are there any? They seem to be made up here and there when needed and then changes again when something else come’s up. For example….
Until just before the TdF this year, the rule that had carried over from last year was ONE team per player. But some people on the forum were talking about their second team as a purist team.
So there was a change, you can have one of each. 😕
Then there is the issue that i’m looking for clarification on, Last year during unlimited periods, players could make changes to their purist team, there were times when unlimited periods came into tours.
So this year, there is an unlimited period, be i’m being told i cannot change my team….but you could through the classic’s, thats why the unlimited days were changed around….but the rules are changed again?? 😕

Am I right in thinking that? The reason I ask is that I am running my main team, where I have paid to go premium, and then I am running a Purist team, where I haven’t paid to go premium. My understanding is that there is no distinction between Premium and non-Premium teams in the Purist comp. as Dave’s intention was to try to allow each Premium player to run a Purist team but it’ll have to wait until next year.
The whole TdF is not a premium comp, not just the purist. But only premium players can win overall in transfers, so that should be the same in purist.
Its not only premium players who can run two teams under Dave’s statement, anyone could run a purist and transfer team, which is why it should only be premium players that can win overall prizes in either league.
I choose not to open another account as i think the new “have two accounts” is wrong after there being the rule last year that one team per person, that’s now out the window.
So why should people with two accounts have two chance’s to win something? Unless they pay £10 to have both their accounts premium?? X( X( X(

Sorry for the confusion
Sorry for the confusion folks. It just happens that the unlimited period is on the rest day this year because of the start of Tour de Pologne.
So I can make changes in the unlimited window to my TdF team then?

No anything for me this year,
No anything for me this year, but knew that from the outset, so my only hope is any overall prize for purist is only for premium players as there are only a few of us up there 👿 👿Gkam84

I’m watching here for updates, gave up on the race, the start was interesting to see a break go for a change, then the race split all over the shop and the commentators starting talking about scenery, so it’s Murray time 😀Gkam84

Not sure it was a collar as he didn’t see to be in that position and he was stretchered off like he couldn’t walk, I think it was lower down, but didn’t get to see much.Cav’s got no chance for the Olympics, he couldn’t keep to on the first small climb today 👿 👿

As a purist, you were able to make changes during the unlimited parts of a tour last year.

dave_atkinson wrote:I don’t know that. But I *do* know that in the unlimited transfer windows the game doesn’t log changes. That means you can make changes at those points and still be a purist. You can look at the stage listing to see when those points are.22nd August 2011

I’m pretty sure purists got to make changes in unlimited periods last year such as rest days and thats how i have set my team up. So that day the tour de suisse starts i was going to make my tdf changes aswell.Gkam84

Leave it as is? I thought during the unlimited period you could make changes. Thats how it used to be 😕Gkam84
Folks, i’m not saying
Folks, i’m not saying anything about expensive prizes. The question was aimed for the game admins like Dave. Just so i knew whether to make sure i got some internet time when its rest day, so i could plan my attack for the rest of the tour. 👿London, on the first page of purist, i only saw around 10 red P’s. So not sure. But low numbers.

One other thing to add, the team mates are not wearing a yellow band on their arm because they have the yellow jersey in their team, Its because Livestrong are still something to do with RSNT, thats why its a Livestong band around the arm 😉 -
