So who as the authority to
So who as the authority to declare his TdF’s results null?

USADA doesn’t WADA might and ASO should have 😕

Anyway. I’m claiming the 1999 result, because I was clean and only 15, I was the youngest winner and I’ll set new records 👿

The only other thing, IF he is proved to have been doping. I’d like to know how and what was used. Then see if that had any link to causing his cancer…… 😕

    Cyclist has a much tighter
Cyclist has a much tighter control system over testing and also the bio passports make it alot easier for riders to be caught.

It is also one of the few sports with is almost totally honest. We know there are footballers out there who take things all the time. Its been proved. But they never get anything done about it.

I’d like to think that 99% of the riders are now clean, but then again, there are still ways to dope that cannot be caught at the moment. Certain blood doping is undetectable. So its NEVER going to be a clean sport, but the majority are clean I think.

It doesn’t come out great, but here is what it says

    [quote]The next Saxo Bank Tinkoff Bank rider Nicolas Roche hoses now out after World Tour points system. Roche, who showed good form in the Tour de France, has been allowed to stand in the Vuelta à España, although he from next season to run for Bjarne Riis’ team. This means that the points that the Irishman had to get under the Spanish stage race will count for the Danish team and not his present, Ag2r-La Mondiale. – The current scoring system is a disgrace. I am running for Ag2r, but my points do not count for them. It is ridiculous and scandalous. But I would like to thank the team for letting me run even if I leave them after this season, says Roche to Biciciclismo. Briton Jonathan Tiernan-Locke has also signed a letter of intent, he switched to a Pro Tour team. The rider from Endura Racing has been linked with a move to just Saxo Bank Tinkoff Bank. It informs Cyclingnews.[/quote}

This is as good a place as
This is as good a place as any.

    Where are you based?
    Where do you ride?
What kind of distances do you ride?
    How often are you out?

If you answer those, then i’m sure someone will be in and around your area that might fancy hooking up for a ride. If not, they might know someone.

I have a similar problem, so been a solo rider for a long time now 😉

    I suppose everyone has
I suppose everyone has different opinion’s. To me, someone being out in the break all day, even if they don’t win, Its worth some glory.

If there was no bonuses, in the racing, not the game. No-one would go in the break, If there was no KoM or sprint points, you’d have a VERY boring race, where everyone just take it easy at half the speed and worked up to the sprint at the finish or drag up hill.

The game, while not being exactly like pro racing. Mirrors it to that extent having break away points.

Take those away and the game becomes pointless, excuse the pun 😉

It would make for a VERY boring game if all anyone was playing for was finish line points (|:

This has been the worst EVER race i’ve seen in terms of television pictures. Even worse than last year, you would have though lessons would have been learnt 🙁

I personally don’t play for the prizes, but was gutted the purist in the TdF was not just for premium aswell 👿

I don’t think the premium has taken anything away from the forum as its the same 5-10 guys posting ALL the time and hardly anyone else. But during the day, alot of people will be working. So I understand that.

I don’t think any changes are
I don’t think any changes are needed. The only a breakaway guy can outscore the stage winner is if there 3 cat 1 mountain climbs and some sprint points.

Other wise it is only if the break away stays away and wins. Thats the only reason that ONE rider this season has scored double what any other rider has scored on a stage 😉
