I keep reading things about
I keep reading things about this and seeing the same kind of sentence over and over. So I was quote one…..See if you can find the MASSIVE error here? It’s true that road cyclists can antagonize drivers, but these guys are clearly in the right, riding single file and staying hard up against the edge of the pavement. But the driver, well, you’ll see — none of that matters to him.Gkam84

Its never been a rule for 2
Its never been a rule for 2 per nation and it would be a little pointless. There is no guaranteed winner, so if you want to fill your team with one national, fire away, no-one will be following you 😉Gkam84
I don’t know if there are any
I don’t know if there are any +5’s in the ITT, for the worlds it is based on nation, not trade team 😉September 17, 2012 at 11:47 pm in reply to: Perhaps one of the worst cases of driver abuse I’ve seen #701155Gkam84
I know what I would be doing
I know what I would be doing to this driver. I’d lose my multi-tool in the process, But it would shut him up.It you put the rego into google, everyone is talking about him now

As Bazzargh says. I found the same posting. The ladies seems to be Model A, I’m wondering if yours could be Model B?It seems exactly the same tubing as this diagram. So maybe the male version? Anyway, its a rare bike as there is nothing about it anywhere online.

There is a plan on hand I think to keep the rainbow jersey in British hands. For once British cycling is keeping its cards close to its chest, unlike the Olympic’s mess.
Tour of Britain winner Jonathan Tiernan-Locke is also part of Britain’s nine-man road race team alongside 2011 champion Mark Cavendish, Wiggins, Froome, Dowsett, Ben Swift, Vuelta stage winner Steve Cummings, Tour of Britain stage winner Luke Rowe and British national champion Ian Stannard.
The gruelling 261-kilometre World Championship road race takes place on undulating course. Cavendish is not expected to be in contention to defend his rainbow jersey, but no clear plan has been suggested by British Cycling as to who the squad’s team leader will be. At least, not out in the open…Gkam84
I’ve seen many very old bikes
I’ve seen many very old bikes in my time, but nothing like that. So I had no idea what you have there.I suggest you contact the UK bicycle museum and see if they can tell you more about it.
Note down any parts or frame numbers that may be on it and send them along with your photo’s to them here cycle.museum@care4free.net

Are you desperate to upgrade
Are you desperate to upgrade just now? If your system is working fine.I would wait till next year with more coming on the market, it should reduce in price a bit more. 😉

I take it you still do some
I take it you still do some mountain biking? In that case, keep your mountain bike and get a pure road bike. That way you have the best of both worlds rather than half and half with a cross bike.
Although they are good in the fast there are few places you can’t go with them. Cross bikes do limit your speed slightly, even with road tyres.
I have various bikes road and cross. If i’m planning an all on road journey, I stick with my road bike. If i’m going out without thinking much about the journey and near somewhere I can sneak off road for a section I’ll take my cross.
Its all about what you want it for. Cross bikes are good for commuting rather than a full on road bike.

I won a Roam at the start of the year. Hoping for a +2 though. But if not, the Roam is great. Contour as sending me a replacement part of something that went wrong. The threads on the bottom stripped after hitting a pothole, they are a great company and help with anything you have a problem with.
