I think it reads that the bobby ‘can’t be sacked’, I’m sure there’s some HR reason for this but I’m jiggered if I know it.

Car enthusiasts face having their vehicles seized

The operation also visited Tesco car park on Harbour Road, Seaton, after police had received complaints of anti-social driving

I see the “let them have their fun” brigade are out in genteel east Devon.

The Devon and Cornwall news is full of main road crashes too numerous to mention and and it’s only the beginning of June.

Drunken Grey Menace alert –

Drunken Grey Menace alert – tell me again about that e-scooter rider you saw in February

Drunk M5 driver caused shocking head-on crash driving on wrong side of motorway

She admitted consuming alcohol before driving to the BP garage on Ashchurch Road in Tewkesbury to buy milk and more alcohol.

After leaving the forecourt she said she turned left instead of right for her home address, then went around the roundabout in order to get back off at Ashchurch Road. But instead of getting off at that exit she accidentally took the prior left-hand turn, the M5 southbound off-slip, and then travelled up the motorway on the southbound side.

He said: “In 24 years since passing my test I and other drivers have never been informed of this law”.

He was discharged conditionally for six months, told to pay prosecution costs of £100 and a victim surcharge of £22.

Nissan Micra seized for parking on same Sheffield pavement twice in six months

They’ve paid all that money for a pavement and the untaxed, uninsured walkers aren’t even using it! Then you get into trouble when you try to use it with your tax paying, insured car.

That is about the only thing that they have done. Surely they should take away his driving licence too? If you can’t remember crashing a car, you’re not safe to be on the road.

Police in “making up rules to
Police in “making up rules to suit themselves results in little censure from colleagues and zero punishment” shock.

It is outrageous, just can’t get surprised about this.
