Save a huge 45% on previous gen Boardman SLR 9.6 Disc Road Bike with Ultegra Di2, now only £1,750

Too good to be true? We’ve checked and checked again and can confirm it’s not, a whole bike with 12-speed Ultegra Di2 for well under two grand!
At RRP, the Ultegra Di2 12-speed groupset alone costs £2,399 – more than the current sale price of the complete bike, which features a carbon fibre frame and 45mm-deep carbon wheels fitted with 28mm Vittoria Corsa Pro Graphene 2.0 tyres.
Though it’s now been superseded by Boardman’s latest fully integrated SLR road bikes, the SLR 9.6 is certainly not a shoddy bike either. In our review, it proved to be a strong all-rounder – capable of racing but equally at home on club rides, sportives or steady spins. It’s comfortable, purposeful and quick.
A SRAM Rival build is also heavily discounted, down to just £1,500.

Save 40% on the Muc-Off AirMach Electric Mini Pump

If you’re tired of pumping your tyres by hand, or fed up with the fuss and expensive of CO2 inflators at the roadside, an electric pump can do the hard work for you.
The Muc-Off AirMach Electric Mini Inflator is small and easy to use, charges quickly and is relatively quiet and cool to the touch in use. It comes with a black silicone rubber case, to aid with grip and more importantly to protect you from the heat it generates when it’s running.
Muc-Off claims the AirMach is good for inflating a 700×25 tyre to 80psi twice – or to 60psi four times. You can now pick up the AirMach Electric Mini Pump for £44.95 at Merlin Cycles, and you can also save 27% on the Pro version which comes with a digital pressure gauge, priced at £72.95.

Buy the Ale Whizzy Winter Overshoes for £10, that’s 80% off

Despite being labelled as winter overshoes, the Ale Whizzy Overshoes are recommended for use in temperatures between 8-20°C, making them suitable for much of the UK riding season rather than just deep winter conditions.
A ribbed upper section is designed with aerodynamics in mind, making them an option for riders looking for a performance-focused overshoe for training or racing.
They feature a 26cm high cuff with a silicone gripper to help hold them in place and the lower section uses a stretchy, fleece-lined fabric with a PU coating, designed to provide warmth and water resistance. Originally priced at £51, you can now save 80% at Sigma Sports.

5 thoughts on “Halfords are clearing the Boardman SLR 9.6 with Ultegra Di2 for a crazy price of just £1,750! Plus half price 105 groupsets, Rapha frame bags for £40 + more”
The Boardman is such a bargain that all sizes except XS have already sold out. Shame!
There’s a good chance that the other sizes were never that cheap
The link to the Rapha frame pack is to a full priced item at £90 and there seems to be no similar item on their site at the price you quote.
Oddly a Google search shows their own Google link offering it at the reduced price (see picture) so maybe somebody’s just forgotten to change it on the website, if you’re interested might be worth dropping them an email to ask?
When one cyclist buys hugely discounted items, they can only thank those who pay inflated RRP.
