Zipp are claiming the lowest rolling resistance and best dry and overall cornering grip according to results from “testing in an independent lab”. Weights for the tyres are listed as 292g for the RT25 and 302g for the RT28.
Available in both 25mm and 28mm to “meet the preferences for wider tyres among today’s road riders”, the Tangente tubeless have a 127 TPI nylon casing and the ability to run lower tyre pressures for reduced risk of pinch flats – max pressure for the RT25 is 115PSI, and 100PSI for the RT28.

Zipp also say that you don’t have to use tyre levers for installation. The tread pattern is modelled on Zipp’s clincher versions of the Tangente Speed.
The RT25 will be available to buy in June 2017 and the RT28 in August 2017, with prices TBC as of yet.
