The DeFeet Armskin D-Logo Arm Warmers are perfect for cool, dry weather. The stripped-back design might not appeal to all, but it does keep the price down.

These have been a welcome addition as spring glimmers, ideal for those 8-10°C mornings that morph into warmer afternoons.

Their 49% Recycled polyester, 48% nylon, 3% Lycra blend doesn’t feel particularly cosy at first, but it’s not itchy or uncomfortable. The only potential weakness is the upper hem, which may be prone to fraying, though the loose thread on mine didn’t worsen over time.
There’s no fleecy lining for very cold conditions, but this means you don’t overheat and have to whip them off when the sun hits them.

My medium-size warmers had enough compression to hold them in place, which means they need a bit of effort to take off – but they stow nicely in a rear pocket despite being a little bulkier than some.
The design resembles a Tubigrip support bandage with the addition of a deep, double-layer cuff.

There’s no panelling or silicone arm grippers – so there’s no irritation or pinching, and I didn’t note any wrinkling.
The Armskins are long, which makes them bulkier than some, but this guarantees coverage at both ends, with zero risk of exposing your flesh at either end.

And while there are no reflective details, the Armskins are available in a range of striking colours, including Neon Yellow and Hi-Viz Pink, which I think would be more effective.
Value
The design might be basic compared with some, but they work well and I’d say £24 is good, especially given the robust, part-recycled material and range of colours.
The Kostume Arm Warmers scored well but cost £45.
The Endura’s Men’s FS260 Thermo Arm Warmer features a thermal lining and cost £29.99.
Conclusion
Overall, DeFeet’s Armskin D-Logo are excellent arm warmers at an attractive price.
Verdict
Well-made, robust, no-frills design for longer arms – they do what basic arm warmers should and the price is right

Tell us how the product performed overall when used for its designed purpose
Perfect for cool, dry days. They keep off the chill and offer full coverage.
Tell us what you particularly liked about the product
Generous length that leads to no exposure at the top. Understated design – no peeling logos or fading reflective tabs.
Tell us what you particularly disliked about the product
Very little. If I was buying for myself, I’d have opted for a brighter colour. The choice of colours is a very much a positive.
How does the price compare to that of similar products in the market, including ones recently tested on road.cc?
Very competitive. There are some cheaper ones out there – a quick Google will return ETC’s arm warmers for less than a tenner, but they’re getting hard to come by, but the majority are more expensive.
Kostume’s are £45 with similar eco-credentials, Spatz Burnr 4 Seasons are £39.99 and are comparbale in terms of length, but with better insulation.
