The Castelli Espresso 15 socks are very comfortable, offering great breathability and slight compression.

I’ve really enjoyed using these socks, which sit pleasantly high (15cm – the clue’s in the name) without encroaching onto your calf, and are super comfy while doing it, with enough compression to stay up without skipping a beat.

The inside of the sock is a really pleasing soft texture against the skin, and coming in at 37g they’re a nice lightweight option for the warmer months, with great breathability to help keep your feet cool.

They come in red, blue, burgundy and black and cost £18 a pair, which, although not cheap, is a very similar price to other quality socks – and a fair bit less than some: Assos’ RS Superleger Socks S11 are £23!

Sure, you can find good socks for less – Universal Colours’ Mono Summer socks are just £14 – but these are very comfy.

Verdict

Super comfy and good-looking socks
