Yesterday saw the unveiling of the new Sky+HD Trade Team which includes Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Shanaze Reade, Jamie Staff, Ross Edgar and Jason Kenny. The team is the latest product of Sky's sponsorship of British Cycling.
The eye-catching new Sky+HD team strip will see its first British action at the Manchester round of the track world cup next week (if you're unable to go you can catch it on the BBC) when team members Victoria Pendleton, Jamie Staff, Ross Edgar and Jason Kenny will be competing. The team is made up of all the sprinters in the British national team and the team has already seen its first action with Jason Kenny racing to victory in Sky kit in Amsterdam.
The new team strip was given the big push on the Sky Sports website with a headline claiming "Sky Redfines Cycling" although check out the video caption (top right) and you'll see that not everyone at Sky was quite up to speed yet with this track cycling malarkey,

His favourite ride is his ‘commute’ - which he does most days inc weekends and he’s been cycle-commuting since 1994. His favourite bikes are titanium and have disc brakes, though he'd like to own a carbon bike one day.
