Video: Riding a 200km Audax with Charge Bikes

Neil from Charge bikes takes on his first 200km ride, the Dorset Coast Audax

You always learn something about yourself by pushing your limits. Neil Cousins from Charge hadn't covered more than 85 miles on a bike before he set out on the 200km (125 mile) Dorset Coast Audax. It's not noted for being flat either, the Dorset coast.

Anyway, this vid is his diary of the day and it's a nice insight into how an Audax ride looks and works, if you've never tried one. Compared to a sportive there's less emphasis on your time and what your bike looks like, and more emphasis on eating bacon sandwiches and chatting. Plus, it won't cost you much more than a fiver to enter. For more on Audax head to www.aukweb.net. Enjoy!
