Don't forget that a week today is the date of the Vulpine Cycling Fete at Balham bowls club. There'll be all sorts of interesting brands there, including Donhou Cycles, Foffa, qoroz, Pearson, Milk Bikes, Kinesis UK, Tokyo Fixed and Ricky Feather as well as artists such as Rich Mitchelson, Philip Deacon, Will Barras, Jason Devine, Andy Mackie, and Dominic Trevett. Plenty to see, so make sure you get over there between midday and 6pm to take in the atmosphere and see the shiny things.
The Fete has two nominated charities: Wheels for wellbeing, which is a charity which supports disabled people who want to cycle in London, and Rollapaluza Outreach, bringing fun and engaging cycling events to schools, young people and disadvantaged adults and those who may not normally have access to healthy activity. Right now they're running an ebay auction to raise money for those charities, and there's lots of cool stuff to bid on.
For a start there's plenty of hardware: You can bid on a Kinesis Decade Tripster frame, A Feather Cycles custom-built steel stem, Milk Bikes finishing kit, a qoroz titanium seatpost, some Miche Supertype carbon brakes and a Donhou handmade steel stem.
There's plenty of arty and media auctions too. The nice Anthony Oram print above is one of the lots; there's also Boneshaker goodies and a signed and numberedf first issue of the Ride journal.
Clothing wise you can bid on a set ot 24 Morvelo tees, new and vintage jerseys, Quoc Pham shoes and more. There's Foffa bike hire vouchers too, and more. Head over to the ebay auction page and get your bids in!
