He has 31 seconds' lead over Tyler Farrar, which should be plenty enough to stay in the ochre jersey for the last two stages.

Team Skinny Rubber Crew certainly had Boonen. And Farrar, and Steegmans. In fact, Rodiger Selig was their only non-scoring rider as they fought their way to the top of the stage table with an impressive 169 points, just ahead of european outfits team biciklizam za djevojčice on 165 and team LowCountryVSI on 160.

At the top of the Tour of Qatar table there's no change with team SBABES still sitting pretty. 131 points on the stage was enough to boost team wints1080 up to second, with team rjl dropping a place to third.
