I found the Owner's Manual. There are 7 buttons. In addition to the Power, Start/Stop and Lap that were on all previous models, the 4 new ones are: Up and down = "Press to scroll through the data screens, options, and settings." Back = "Return to the previous screen", Select = Open main menu or Select an option. @Smoggysteve How incredibly naive of you to act as if men and women are equally affected by the safety issues mentioned. Don't you have areas where you're happy to cycle after the dark but where you wouldn't want a female relative or friend to be doing the same on their own? I know I have. The nature of the threats faced by women and the generally increased vulnerability of women to attack makes it absolutely absurd to say oh, they're just issues everyone has.

£700. I'll stick with my 1050,even if it occasionally fails to make ride data available for viewing or upload to Connect. The voice feature is a nice idea, but I'd feel a right ninny saying, "Ok Garmin". Should be able to change the trigger phrase to one of your choosing. And an optional Bluetooth bendy microphone to clip over your ear or to helmet strap might aid clarity.

I've been asking Garmin since the 800 series to add physical buttons for things like scrolling between screens and zooming in/out on maps. Have my wishes finally been heard? More info on this feature would be great.

@Smoggysteve exactly. There are lots of changes that needs to be made to make cycling safer, and we need women's input on how best to do that. And by ensuring that women's concerns are addressed, we maximise the increase in cycling numbers precisely because women are currently under represented.
