Fresh Air for Families with Sustrans

Sustainable transport charity Sustrans has done its bit to make entertaining the kids that much easier this summer, with its range of Fresh Air Miles events around the country. There's also the chance to win a brand new Specialized Hotrock for your little one.  

This Saturday (23rd July) there are two ride options celebrating just one year to go before the London Olympics. There's a 5 mile option departing from Tottenham Hale Train Station in North London, with just a very brief road section, or there's a longer 11 mile option starting at the Thames Barrier, taking quiet roads and cycle paths. Both routes finish up at the Olympic Park. There's also a 5 mile walk from the Tower of London for those who, heaven forbid, prefer their feet on the ground. Both the rides and the walk are designed to be family friendly, and will be lead. 

On 26th July there's a family ride in Leicestershire, and more new Fresh Air Miles rides will be added throughout the year. Just keep checking the Sustrans website for information. 

The Fresh Air Miles events are also supported by First Gear an initiative created by Specialized which is aimed at encouraging more children to get out riding bikes. When registering with the ride organiser of any Fresh Air Miles event on the day, riders will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a brand new Specialized Hotrock children's bicycle.
