Plenty of international class on display at Revolution 30

Alex Rasmussen and Michael Morkov among the continental talent

The next round of the Revolution Championship on November 20 will see plenty of continental class supplementing the homegrown talent.

Among the foreign stars will be Scratch Race World Champion Alex Rasmussen and team mate Michael Morkov who will enter the fray at Revolution 30.

The Saxo Bank pros will be joined by six day stars Franco Marvulli, Leif Lampater, Christian Grassmann and Sebastian Donadio in one of the strongest endurance line ups in Revolution’s history.

“The endurance field at the next Revolution will be one of the strongest we’ve had at an event,” said event director James Pope. “Morkov and Rasmussen are a class act so we’re expecting them to make an immediate impact on the Championship. With such an exciting and attacking field of international riders, joined with the calibre of British riders, Revolution 30 is set to be a display of endurance brilliance.”

Rasmussen’s world Scratch title follows double world titles in 2009 in the Madison and Team Pursuit, which he won with Morkov. Revolution will see the pair come face to face with the current Junior Madison Champions Simon Yates and Dan McLay as well as a strong British contingent including Rob Hayles and Alex Dowsett.

The competition will also be boosted by the return of Team Sky’s endurance stars and several top British Academy riders.

Tickets for Revolution on November 20 are available on www.cyclingrevolution.com or by calling 0843 208 1840.
