The most romantic weekend of the year is best spent with the person – or piece of machinery – that you love the most, right?
You all seemed to manage that, as well as taking photos of the piece of road you love the most too.
That made it something of a trinity of love. The people you love the most, the bits of road you love the most, and the bikes you love the most!
So, here’s a run down of the best bits of road that you guys, our esteemed road.cc readers, found, and the ocasional explanation as to why you love them so much:

Robert Pickering’s contribution to this week’s #mycyclingweekend was certainly the most technical. What a shot, we’d love a few goes on that one.

Tom Paget’s continued the descent theme with his shot of the road down into Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. Who knew cyclists like to ride downhill?

Clearly, the theme we cottened on to early in this #mycyclingweekend was no coincidence. Above you’ve got Galen Mittermann, James Meeks, and Arno G’s contributions to the favourite road call-out. Descents all round.
@roadcc Tabayesco, Lanzarote. I’m heading home today so won’t be riding here again till Nov 🙁 #mycyclingweekend pic.twitter.com/5lasuSEp8x

Here’s Chris Wilkinson’s contribution. Lanzarote. Stunning.
#mycyclingweekend One of my favs – Sussex! And Sundays are good for getting over to @qeop1234 pic.twitter.com/GnftTfRWaq
— Jenny Ondioline (@AJennyOndioline) February 14, 2016
Jenny Ondioline’s favourite spot centres around the stunning Olympic Velodrome. We can’t blame her.
While John Scale brings some love to flat roads with his contribution. Local roads are often our favourite too John. Nothing like knowing a bit of tarmac like the back of your hand.
Finally, Jason Burns brought some love to breakfast on a very love-heavy weekend. Heart-shaped eggy bread. As he says in his tweet. Perfect for carb-loading as well as romantic breakfasts.
