Well, now I'm down to 2, here is one post-ride today. Comfy Giant Revolt Advanced in gravel mode. It doubles as my winter road bike with a switch of wheels and full Flinger mudguards.
That's lovely ...
Had this bike now for four years and 8000 miles and counting I ride for shopping, hauling recycling stuff to the Tip, off & on-road pleasure rides etc. I took the photo on the most stupid highways junction lane marking a complete waste of time & money as they are allowed to park stopping the traffic that the markings were put there for.
Please give us a rundown of the parts.
She's a beaut!
I especially like the hammered mudguards.
Absolutely gorgeous! I see RH tyres. What crankset and front rack are those?
Custom randonneur designed with @SimonStanforth. Love it!
My 2021 Scott Addict 10 (not the RC, this is the "endurance" version). Swapped out the aluminium bar for a carbon Control Tech one, Supacaz bar tape, Fizik Argo Tempo saddle, Prime RR 38 wheels with Conti' GP5000 32c TL's.
I've wanted a Brompton for a long time, and now I have one. Shown here with the Bickerton it replaces, the Brompton is much nicer.
Flat bar, 6 very useable speeds, no rear rack. It weighs the same as the Bickerton, but folds significantly smaller.
Had a gardener round to tidy up and he got my old bike out from the undergrowth. It's over 30yrs old but I think it'll buff up ......🤔
Looks like Raleigh had the gravel bike sorted in1995
Merckx San Remo 76 with Cero RC 50s and Campagnolo Potenza.
My new bike with a Chi**ses wheels,It is a new venture for using this type of staff,I will report back if something go awry,a total 7.66kg gravel.so far so good.
New Bike Day 😊
Well my Ribble Enthusiast CX SL arrived today after waiting just under 6 months for it to arrive, and thankfully it has come before the start of the new Cyclocross season.
Took it today on her maiden voyage and I am well impressed with it, there was no feeling that I was sitting on top of the bike like some have reported, on the contrary I felt as if I was part of the bike and it didn't feel at all twitchy which some cyclists have also complained about. Full Carbon frame and level five integrated handlebars make this bike a real mover and I took her on the road, gravel and on rough uneven terrain and she passed every test. I couldn't be happier....👍🏻
Trek Emonda SL4 2018 now with a few upgrades ~ well to tell the truth not much of the original bike remains. I bought this new old stock from Solent Cycles in June 2020 at a bargain price. (thanks Mike!)
My Mercian king of Mercia
!!! UNICORN ALERT !!!
1997 Specialized S-Works M2 Team issue!
Not a bike available as a model for sale in 1997. Only people to have them would have been the racing team. These would be extremely limited in numbers. Painted from the factory in race team livery.
*No, it is NOT a 1997 Specialized Allez Comp M2. This bikes serial follows the S-Works serial numbering system!
willing to rehome for the right offer. Beau joseph on Facebook.
cheers from Sudbury ontario canada
My 51cm Habanero Gravel bike- 35mm Pirellis, 3T bars Selle SMP seat. Love how tough it is and amazing to ride.
This is my curent 2016 Cannondale EVO... it's a Hi-Mod and restored as well...
My EVO I restored this 2014 Cannondale EVO from the beat up mess it was. It looked like the previous owner threw it into the back of a truck everytime he used it. I rode it for a summer. It's currently for sale on eBay...

Updated 22 Mar 2022.
Latest addition to the stable. Dolan ADX Ti with Shimano 105 R7020 disc grupo. Came with Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST wheelset with Yksion Pro 25mm which are set up as tubeless.
The wrong colour of bar tape was fitted by Dolan, but on contact, they sent out the correct one, which has now been updated (Feb 2022).
Also swapped Selle Italia X1 saddle for a Fizik Arione R5...which I have on two other bikes and works for me.
I have fitted a set of Winspace (Lún) Hyper 50mm DB, which I was lucky enough to have won in a GCN competition, and the prize was shipped out with the help of Joe Whittingham (ChinaCycling channel on Youtube).
I've not had the pleasure of testing out the bike with the new wheels - as of 9th Feb 2022, I sustained a snapped achilles tendon in my left leg...'moshing' at an Echo & the Bunnymen concert in Dublin. I had surgery on 11th Feb, and have been in a plastic boot for recovery since then (currently 22 March 2022).
Thanks. Have to admit I've always paid a LBS to fit my guards for fear of this sort of faff and making a pig's ear of it!
They're Kinesis Fend Offs. Nice aluminum guards, but a bit of a faff to fit. Had to drill out the rivets on the front guard mount and reattach it the opposite way round with new rivets, as there's no front-facing mounting point on the Mason fork. Then had to reprofile the guard using pliers wrapped with electrical tape so that it would fit between the fork legs. Also had to drill a hole in the rear guard and source a 5mm plastic stand-off to make use of the seatstay bridge mount. But solid enough once fitted, definitely won't be snapping!
Nice build. I rode LEJOG on my Definition in 2017 (I bought it with that trip in mind), and it was a great companion. What guards are you using? I have recently snapped the SKS Longboards that I had on it, so looking for replacements.
You've got an absolute bargain there.
It's always good to have a pub bike too so I'd keep hold of the kinesis as well, can never have too many bikes!
Maybe, maybe not. It had been on for quite some time, overpriced IMO for being in apparently not the best condition and having a QR/post-mount rear end. I offered what I thought was a fair price when it was first listed, but the seller declined. Then I waited a few weeks while it got relisted at lower and lower prices. I ended up getting it for what I originally offered.
A previous bike24 fire sale on Campag bits means the cost to build was just over £1600. It replaces a Kinesis T3 which I *should* sell, but may just keep for when I need to lock a bike up, as the Mason just looks a bit too flash.
Yes - in hamster years.
I think you snaffled this from under my nose!
He who hesitates is lost!
Hope you enjoy the bike, I'm not jealous, honest...
Is that your age ?
