CatEye Fizik ICS Saddle light bracket

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a CatEye light bracket that fits the Fizik ICS saddles? They seem to come as a pack of 2, depending on which light/saddle you have.

Would be a very neat solution for one of my bikes.

I can't find any UK bike shop with them in stock, so just asking before I look at getting a mate in the US to pick one up for me.

Alternatively, any stock of the Fizik Rapid 3 rear light, which is a Cateye light bundled with the Fizik bracket.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Chris,

In the end, I ordered 5 packs from REI's sale in the US, shipped to mate's house in Florida, so no postage.

Sold the ones I didn't need on eBay, so essentially got mine FOC, possibly even made a small profit 1

But thanks for the offer.

Oh, I've just seen your original post was not from 2019!

Is this the light/bracket that just clips into the back of the saddle? Seller Royale saddles also used the same system. The LED/cover detached itself from mine a couple of years ago so I've got the bracket and main part of the light unit spare if you want it, I'm in Earley, which I believe isn't far from you? Pretty sure it's the 3-LED one you're referring to aswell.

I replaced it with the older 5-LED version which I thought looked sleeker than the new one, it also does the knightrider/cylon flash thing... But seems to have issues with battery connection dropping out 2

I'm working from home today if you want me to try to find it in my box of spare parts in the morning?

A bit late to the thread... but for anyone with access to a 3D printer, give my FiziCatClip design a try - just published today on Thingiverse. It's been thoroughly tested for years, on road and trail with a Cateye Rapid 3 on Fizik Arione, Gobi and Tundra Saddles. Enjoy! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3107081

Thank you so much for this, I'd been after one but couldn't bear to pay the prices currently being asked for official ones.

I found someone local to me with a printer through 3DHubs.  He reccomended it be printed in PETG instead of PLA.  Came out great, just needed a bit of sanding and a couple of the ridges cut off with a stanley.  This was the first time I've ever had anything 3d printed and I found the whole expereince pretty cool.  From you creating the file and sharing it to the guy who printed it out and took an active interest in making sure it fitted.

Even later to the thread but many thanks for posting this, very comunity minded of you. I've not even tried it yet but looks as though it's going be great ... if not it's given me a good base model that I can tweak to my own design!

Time to get the printer warmed I think....

I've found them on sale at a US shop and will get a couple of sets sent to a mate's house in Florida, as will be seeing them next time they're over - job done.

Might even get a couple of extra sets and put them on eBay 4

Thanks for the replies.

Looked at eBay and the only current listings are at £12.49 EACH, where I believe the original pack was both of them for about £12.

Listed on amazon.com for $6, but only as an "add-on" purchase, so I'd need to spend another $25 in order to get them.

Best price I've found is from JensonUSA - about £9 for the brackets + £12 postage.

Will keep an eye on eBay for now.

I bought mine on eBay, where Forza Sports list them from time to time.  Here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302184082338.

I went through the same thinking a while ago and was pondering the Rapid 3 to avoid putting anything on my nice new carbon seat post.  There's one in stock here:

In the end though, I decided that was overpriced and discovered the Moon Nebula knock off's that Aldi do for £13 that come with saddle mounts.  Far brighter, cheaper and looks great:
